One of the factors I wrote about in my essay was the effect of a fatherless home has on a child. I did some research online and studies have shown children that grow up in a fatherless home are at a dramatically greater risk of drug and alcohol use, mental illness, suicide, poor educational performance, teen pregnancy, and crime. Children who are raised by a single mother usually have bad behavior in school and other areas. This explains a lot about the kids in Ordinary Resurrections. Many had problems with school and problems at home, it's almost certain that maybe that would have not been the case if a father figure were around for these kids.

The website looked very informative and looked like it could help out. And i do agree that children have bad behavior without their fathers in their lives.

ReplyDeleteI saw the website. i really liked it. it tells how having two parents at home helps a child focus more and do better at school and also having better relationships.
