I think music is an art of language. Music has always been an important part of our life. It is a vocal or instrumental sound or both combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion. Its not only belongs to modern songs and tradition. It also belongs to “Vedas” (scripture) because it’s read or spell like music or songs. Vedas is one of the world's oldest unbroken musical traditions. It goes to define the culture and tradition of India. It is believed to have developed due to the interaction between people of diverse race and culture.

I like all types of music songs like Bollywood music (romantic, emotional), Indian classical music and devotional music. Sometimes I like poetry in my language from my language book. The most important song is my national song which every Indian knows and respects. I listen Indian music; whenever I am upset or sad I listen music. Based on time the music plays like at temple devotional music and in parties Bollywood music. Listening to devotional music feels I am near to the God and with friends and parties we sing other songs and sometimes emotional music too to remember our past days and memories from childhood and schools.

Here is an emotional and respectful song lyric which is in Hindi but also it translated to in English:

In Hindi

Yeh Tho Sach Hai Ki Bhagwan Hai
Hai Magar Phir Bhi Anjaan Hai
Dharti Pe Roop Maa Baap Ka
Us Vidhaata Ki Pehchaan Hai

In English

Though it's true that there is God,
But he is unknown to everybody

He is recognized on earth
In the form of parents

Alka Yagnik is one of my favorite singer  because i like her all songs. her musics are really heart touch and best musics ever and she is one of the most popular singer in India.

  1. I know how you feel when you speak of devotional music: I feel the same way. It always makes me closer to God and makes me feel alive.
