Stories as a way to remember 9-11-2001

We are coming up on the anniversary of the tragedy at the World Trade Center on September 11. The idea can soon seem far away and abstract to us, but I think it's worthwhile to remember the people who lost their lives there and to remind ourselves that stories are powerful and they can tell the stories of peoples' lives, even if they are no longer here to do so. Stories make things present again. So for this blog assignment, find the name of someone who passed away on September 11 at the World Trade Center or Pentagon bombings. Do a little research on this person on the internet. See what you can find out. What were this person's interests, passions, beliefs? What was his or her job? Family? Then write a post on the blog about this one person so we can read about and remember this person. Include a picture if possible. I look forward to your research and writing here on the blog.
