Vincent Abate

Vincent Abate
Vincent Abate was one of the many lives lost o 9/11.  He was 40 years old and was a resident of New York City.  He worked as a bond trader for Canter Fitzgerald.  In a tribute of his, a close friend described him as the type of guy who would take the shirt off his back and give it to you if it was cold.  Vincent also lost his brother to 9/11, who worked for the same company, Vincent actually got him the job there.  The two were described to have a great relationship with each at work and at home.  What surprised me most about Vincent's story was how he also had lost his brother to the attack.  This surprised me because you didn't really hear about siblings losing there lives to the attack.  I think something I could apply to my life that I learned from Vincent is to live my life to fullest.  Vincent would always take trips to Vegas and just do what he liked.  I think the message here is to live your life to the fullest as you never know when it could end.
